Hi, I'm Verity

I live in the lovely Essex countryside with my husband Ian, our cocker spaniel Woody, our crazy ginger cat Jupiter and our three grown-up children, Joe 23, Bella 20 and Bea 16. Bella is at university and Joe is about to move out—the nest is slowly emptying.

My passion for clothes, colour and interiors led me to a job in retail, having spent the best part of 20 years at home raising the kids. That was three and a half years ago. What started as a part-time team member role quickly became a full-time management role that took over my life. My fourth Christmas working in retail in 2025 is what made me realise that something had to change.

I started looking at other options to earn the same money but work fewer hours and on my own terms. I knew there had to be more to life as I approached my 50s.

That’s when I stumbled upon this business. I quickly signed up to learn more, and the more I learned, the more I liked!

I started my online business at the beginning of 2026 while still working my 40-hour retail management job.
